Most of the residential work around Leduc sits in the newer subdivisions, Southfork, Meadowview and the streets that went up with them. Those houses do not have the problems an older home has. The rooms are square, the floors are level and the ceilings are where the drawing says they are.
What they do have is builder-grade cabinetry. On a spec build the kitchen is chosen to hit a number, which usually means thin carcass material, basic runners and a finish that starts showing wear about the time the mortgage stops feeling new. The layout is often fine. The boxes are not.
