Kitchens, mudrooms, basement built-ins and closets for Sherwood Park and Strathcona County homes.

Sherwood Park carries more square footage per house than almost anywhere else in the region, and the cabinetry requests that come out of it reflect that. The kitchen is the obvious one. The jobs that actually change how a house works are usually the other rooms: the mudroom four people pass through in winter boots, the bonus room over the garage that has never had proper storage, and the basement developed with an open wall where built-ins should have gone.
Those rooms rarely get designed. They get filled with whatever fits, and then they stay that way. They are also the cheapest square footage in the house to make better, because there is no plumbing and no gas line in the way.
A family mudroom is a harder build than a kitchen, and it gets specified as though it were easier. It takes wet boots, salt, dropped bags and a door swinging into it forty times a day. That means the carcass material and the hardware matter more than the door style, and it means bench heights and locker widths should be set from the people using them rather than from a catalogue.
The same is true of basement built-ins. A wall of shelving in a developed basement has to sit around a beam, a cold air return and usually a window well, none of which are where the drawing says. We build for the wall as it exists.
Whole-house scopes are covered on the residential cabinetry page, and storage-specific work on built-ins and closets.
Strathcona County has a great deal of acreage property, and an acreage kitchen is a different specification again. Longer runs, taller ceilings, and a pantry doing the job a second fridge does in town. Tall units carry the most cost of anything in a cabinetry quote, roughly four times a comparable run of base cabinets, so that conversation belongs before the drawing is finished rather than after.
Manufacturing is local rather than imported, so a change coming back from site adds days rather than restarting a shipping cycle. Delivery and installation are done by our own crew and quoted inside the price. Finished work sits in the project gallery, and the cabinetry packages page explains how multi-room scopes are priced.
Send the measurements, a photograph of the space today, and a picture of the finish you like. We will put a real range in front of you before asking for anything else.
